The New Cumberland Lions Club will hold its next pulled-pork takeout event from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of the Swaney Memorial Library in New Cumberland. A pulled-pork sandwich will be $7. Sides will include potato salad or baked beans, each costing $1. One side or both can be added to the sandwich to make a meal. Pop and bottled water will be sold for $1. All proceeds will be used for Lions Club projects. This year, the pork is being provided by Buckey’s Smokeahouse and Catering in Weirton. Members taking part in the fundraiser include, from left, Alan Lee, Peggy Lee, Jim Wells and Betsy Wells.
