WINTERSVILLE — The Upper Ohio Valley Camera Club announced its top-place finishers during its August competition, where this month’s theme was “Water — Man-made Devices.”

Top-place finishers in the theme category were: Lisa Carte, first place; Karen Felix, second place; and Gina Judy, third place.

The open category finishers were: Dennis Jones, first place; Sue Adey, second place; and Sharon Slokan, third place.

Top finishers in the special effects category were: Barb Momyer, first place; Adey, second place; and Slokan, third place.

The Upper Ohio Valley Camera Club welcomes anyone who has an interest in photography, whether they use a camera or a cell phone to take their photographs.

All are welcome to attend the meetings, with the next meeting scheduled to be held at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 16 at Two Ridges Presbyterian Church, located at 1085 Canton Road in Wintersville,

Members and guests meet on the lower level in the social hall.

The annual competition night will take place that evening, according to officials.
