Members of the Weir High School Class of 1975 gathered for their 50th reunion Sept. 5-6. An icebreaker was held Sept. 5 at Blue Steel Bar and Grill in Weirton. On the morning of Sept. 6, several classmates attended a tour of the Weirton Area Museum and Cultural Center and Weir High School. The celebration continued that evening with a dinner dance at Undo’s restaurant inside the Holiday Inn in Weirton. Many classmates traveled from outside the Ohio Valley including from Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Oklahoma, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Southern West Virginia. Those involved in helping to make the event a fun celebration were thanked.
