Highland Springs Ladies League
The women of the Highland Springs Ladies Golf League played the back nine holes on Monday.
The Play of the Day was “Two Women — One Best Ball.”
The first-place team was comprised of Laura Froehlich and Tammy Jackson. The second-place team was Yuko Atwell and Carmela Wallace.
Denise Augustine was closest to the pin on second shot on hole No. 14.
Tammy Koutsky had the longest drive on hole No. 16.
Augustine claimed the prize for the lowest putts of the evening.
Froehlich had a chip-in birdie on hole No. 12.
Atwell birdied hole No. 13.
Throughout the month of September, the league’s tee-off time is at 4:30 p.m. due to earlier sunsets.

Town and Country Ladies League
The Town and Country Ladies Golf League played the first round of its league tournament on Sept. 11 at Spring Hills Golf Club.
Winners in A Flight included: Kathy Antinone, gross winner; and Signa Findlay, net winner.
Winners in B Flight included: Debbie Hendricks, gross winner; and Diane Vandine, net winner.
Winners in C Flight included: Nancy Lellie, gross winner; and Rose Kaczmarek, net winner.
The winners of longest drive on hole No. 1 were: Findlay, A Flight; Hendricks, B Flight; and Dora Elizaga, C Flight.
The winners of longest drive on hole No. 9 were: Findlay, A Flight; Pat Zorne, B Flight; and Toni Dondzila, C Flight.
The winners of closest to the pin on hold No. 8 were: Dorothy Baier, A Flight; Hendricks, B Flight; and Shirley Guida, C Flight.
Antinone and Findlay tied for low putts at 16.
