Seven Ranges trunk-or-treat set

STEUBENVILLE — Seven Ranges Entertainment will hold an evening of “spooktacular” fun during its second-annual trunk-or-treat event, scheduled to take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday.

The community is invited to attend this event with friends and family for a night filled with treats, contests and entertainment.

Seven Ranges, located at the Fort Steuben Mall, is inviting businesses to showcase their creativity and compete for the title of Best Business Trunk. Decorate your trunk and be ready to impress the little ghouls and grown-up goblins in attendance.

Children can show off their costumes and prepare for a thrilling Halloween costume contest with prizes to be awarded for the best costumes in various categories, organizers announced.

Judges will walk through the line between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to review trunks and costumes. They will then select the nominees. Those who are nominated will receive a ticket during the judging. The ticket will be your entry into the final round.

All nominees must be inside the building by 7:30 p.m. for the final round of judging, officials noted.

Prizes are a Seven Ranges gift card, in the amounts of $100, $50 and $25. All nominees will receive a one-hour play card.

Event highlights include a contest for the best decorated business trunk, a variety of treats and perhaps a few tricks.
