Library announces upcoming activities for Nov. 9-15
STEUBENVILLE — The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County will hold the following activities for the week of Nov. 9-15.

Adults: Adults 21 and older can enjoy an evening of craft beer, trivia and a presentation about the brewing process during the Books and Brews event, set from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 13 at the library. In collaboration with the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce, tickets are $20 per person and available for purchase online at jeffersoncountychamber.com.
The Mystery Book Club will meet at 11 a.m. on Nov. 10 to read and discuss the book “Raspberry Danish Murder,” by Joanne Fluke. Call to join the club.
Children: Encourage early literacy skills by attending Tot Time, a program for parents who have children between the ages of 2 and 4. Tot Time will be offered at 11 a.m. on Tuesdays, including Nov. 11, Nov. 18 and Nov. 25.
Tot Time will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesdays, as well, including on Nov. 12, Nov. 19 and Nov. 26.
Families can spend an hour together enjoying library books during a Family Story Time event, scheduled to take place at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 15.
Go on a Thanksgiving scavenger hunt anytime between Nov. 10-15. Complete the list and collect a prize when you have finished. This activity is for children ages 5 to 11.

Adults: Unwind at the library and unleash your creativity for a Paint ‘n Sip event, set for 1 p.m. Nov. 15. Attendees will paint a seasonal scene. The program and supplies are free of charge. Registration is required.
Join us at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 11 for the monthly book club and discuss “The London Seance Society,” by Sarah Penner.
Children: Celebrate Aviation Month by engaging in STEM activities at 5 p.m. Nov. 12. The event is for children ages 8 to 12. Registration is required.

Taste test pickles at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 13. This fun program is for children ages 10 and older. Register to participate.
