Weirton Christian Center provides meals to children during the summer

WEIRTON – The Weirton Christian Center is serving as a sponsor for the federal Summer Food Service Program, providing free lunch and a snack to area youth under the age of 18. Lunch will be served at the Weirton Christian Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Thursday, through July 30, with snacks available for those enrolled in the Christian Center's summer program from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. The Weirton Christian Center is located at 117 Ivy St. in Weirton. Sycamore Youth Center continues summer mobile food pantry program

STEUBENVILLE — The Sycamore Youth Center's Summer Mobile Food Pantry is once again serving children and families throughout Steubenville and Wintersville, providing free food assistance every Friday through Aug. 7. The program is designed to help address food insecurity among local youth during the summer months when school meal programs are not available.
