John Heinz History Center as part of its Bells Across PA initiative — a statewide public art project to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States in 2026. Free Thanksgiving turkey dinners were served at the Greater Weirton Senior Center on Thanksgiving Day. All of the meals were prepared by those at All Saints Church, who have been performing this free service for the last 19 years. At left, there were 290 deliveries prepared at the church, while 175 sit-down meals were served at the senior center between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The holiday meal included turkey, ham, sweet potatoes, green beans, bread stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, rolls and pumpkin pie.
