History center unveils bell PITTSBURGH — America250PA unveiled a new bell sculpture at the Sen. John Heinz History Center as part of its Bells Across PA initiative — a statewide public art project to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States in 2026. Uniting to feel community

Free Thanksgiving turkey dinners were served at the Greater Weirton Senior Center on Thanksgiving Day. All of the meals were prepared by those at All Saints Church, who have been performing this free service for the last 19 years. At left, there were 290 deliveries prepared at the church, while 175 sit-down meals were served at the senior center between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The holiday meal included turkey, ham, sweet potatoes, green beans, bread stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, rolls and pumpkin pie. Creek sets meeting with parents regarding upcoming trips

WINTERSVILLE — The Indian Creek High School Foreign Language Club is traveling across the globe and is set to discuss plans during a meeting set for 6 p.m. Thursday in the classroom of Isabelle Heisler, co-adviser of the student organization. Heisler, along with co-adviser Michele Starkey, will address open enrollment for the next scheduled trip to London, Paris and Rome in 2027.
