WEIRTON – A city resident is facing multiple charges after crashing into a school bus Tuesday afternoon.

According to information from the Weirton Police Department, Amanda Rose Kosanovich, no age listed, of 3713 State St., struck the school bus from behind. Reports have indicated the incident happened on Marland Heights Road, and the bus had children on board at the time.

Kosanovich was arrested on scene and faces charges of DUI, possession of a controlled substance, failure to maintain control and no proof of insurance.
