Toronto woman appointed

COLUMBUS — Gov. Mike DeWine announced several appointments Friday.

Included among them was Tammi E. Middleton of Toronto, who was appointed to the Children and Youth Advisory Council for a term beginning Tuesday, and continuing at the pleasure of the governor.

Red Rider Road to be closed for paving

WEIRTON — The Weirton Public Works Department has announced the temporary closure of Red Rider Road for paving.

The closure will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, weather permitting. Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly.
