Executive committee to meet

ST. CLAIRSVILLE — The executive committee of the Jefferson-Belmont Regional Solid Waste Authority will meet with the Belmont County prosecutor’s department at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Belmont JBGT building 67895 Pickering Road.

Committee meetings are open to the public.

County highway schedule set

STEUBENVILLE — This week’s schedule for the Jefferson County Highway Department includes:

• Spot paving: County Roads 61 (Amsterdam-Wolf Run Road) and 53 (Bergholz-New Somerset Road)

• Bridge replacement: County Road 11 (Piney Fork Road), Knox Township Road 289 and Springfield Township Road 472 (Ridgewood)

• Contract tree trimming: County Road 53 (Bergholz-New Somerset Road)
