PITTSBURGH — Kennywood is back on the national stage, as Phantom Fall Fest has been named one of the country’s best theme park Halloween events by USA Today 10Best readers. Landing in the top 10, Phantom Fall Fest claimed the ninth spot.

The region’s annual Halloween tradition puts more horror into the season every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through Nov. 1, plus Oct. 23. This year, attendees are in for even more frights as the park debuts an all-new haunt, Detached. Brave souls are encouraged to pull themselves together as they enter the terrifying toy store of the Puppet Master. His delusional quest to build the perfect puppet has led him deeper into madness.
