WELLSBURG – The Brooke County Board of Education has begun the process of seeking a new member following the recent death of Antoinette Perkins. Perkins died Sept. 14 at the age of 75. In July, she began her 10th year as a member of the board of education and was selected to lead it as the board president. Weirton Council sets workshop WEIRTON – Weirton Council has scheduled a work session for 6 p.m., Tuesday, in Room 201 of the Weirton Municipal Building.
