FAO accepting applications for environmental funding NELSONVILLE — The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio is accepting applications for up to $250,000 in grants, fellowships, research funding and innovation awards supporting conservation and environmental stewardship projects. ATLANTA - A local career and technical student won one of the nation's highest awards at the National Leadership & Skills Conference, held June 1-5 in Atlanta. Izibella Brown, from Colliers and a student at John D Rockefeller IV Career Center, was awarded the high school bronze medal in Graphics Imaging-Sublimation. To be invited to the SkillsUSA Championships, students first had to win their state-level competition, demonstrating their technical skills, workplace skills and personal skills.
