Janice Goodman

GOODMAN, Janice Marie, 64, of Follansbee, WV, passed away at 4:29 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 22, 2014 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, Ohio.

Janice was born on Aug. 29, 1950, in Steubenville, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late John Sr. and Josephine (Yachini) Santoro.

Janice was a faithful member of the Follansbee United Methodist Church. She worked at various places so that she could meet people, most recently worked at Shop- N-Save.

Janice was a 1969 graduate of Follansbee High School. She was a very special person that was very kind and a wonderful wife, mother, and grandma.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by two stepgrandchildren, T.J. Ordich in 2012, and Scarlet Anderson in 2013 and her dear brother, John Santoro Jr, on Dec.11, 2014.

Janice is survived by her husband of 38 years, Rich L. Goodman Sr., of Follansbee, WV., two caring sons, SSgt. Rich L. Goodman Jr. and his wife, Carrie of Dover Air Force Base, Delaware and Michael John Goodman and his companion, Rachel Palmer of Follansbee, WV, two grandchildren, Emma and Nina Josephine Goodman, three step grandchildren, Michael Ordich, Maylyn Torpey and Skye Ann Palmer, two sisters, Bonnie (Dan) Truax of Weirton, W.Va. and Karen Santoro of Follansbee, W.Va. and several nieces and nephews.

Due to the holidays, family and friends will be received on Friday, Dec. 26, 2014, from 5 until time of Funeral Service at 7 p.m. at James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV 304-527- 1717, with Reverend Penny Calmbacher, Officiating.

Interment will be private at Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee, WV.
