CELIA “SIS” NEVILLE

Sis was born on September 18, 1923, in Cross Creek, WV, a daughter of the late Charles Earl and Mary Pearl (Cline) McLaughlin. In addition to her parents Celia is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Norman Neville, Sr.; and two brothers, Earl (Dorothy) McLaughlin, Jr. and Thomas (Clarabel) McLaughlin.

Sis graduated from Wellsburg High School Class of 1941. She was a faithful member of the Wellsburg United Methodist Church. Sis was a very talented artist having received Numerous awards for her paintings. She was also a member of the Wellsburg and Steubenville Art Association. She worked for the Brooke County Tax Office, Erskine Glass as a glass decorator, sold real estate, and worked for Municipal Mutual Insurance Co.

Sis is survived by one son, Norman Neville, Jr. and companion Delphine Woodburn and one brother, Raymond (Mary) McLaughlin, Sr. both of Wellsburg, WV; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

All services and interment will be held privately on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, with Pastor Joy Leasure officiating at the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV 26037.

Interment will be held privately at Brooke Cemetery.
