WILLIAM “BILL” ORLOFSKE

William “Bill” Henry Orlofske II, father and husband, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 5, 2023, at Trinity Hospital in Steubenville, OH.

Bill, 55, son of William Henry Orlofske I and Sarah Palmer Orlofske, was born in Wheeling, WV on Christmas Day 1967. His spirit of giving began from day one. Bill is survived by his wife, Tia Hinerman Orlofske, his daughter Brooke (Morgan) DeArmin, and two stepchildren Brady and Kirsten Lancia. In addition, his furry friends, his 5 pups, Cali, Gemma, Geno, Maxwell, and Zeppelin.

Bill was a proud 1986 graduate of John Marshall High School where he played varsity baseball and football. Bill was also a lifelong WVU baseball and football sports fan, he bled blue and gold. After graduation, Bill went on to become an Aviation Ordianceman with the United States Navy having served five years active duty from 1986-91 and the reserves from 1991-97.

Following the Navy, Bill went on to further enjoying his love of sports along with his career by excelling in Warehouse Management for several larges sports venues and teams including Heinz field, West Virginia University, Troy University in Alabama, and Mississippi State University. Bill enjoyed not only being able to do his best job but experiencing the events as well.

In 2022, Bill retired to spend more time with his wife, update their home, and pursue his hobbies. Bill was also doing something, whether you saw him knee deep in the middle of some project, walking up and down the street,

In lieu of a funeral, a Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday June 13, 2023, at 6:00 P.M. at Vito’s II restaurant in Follansbee, WV. Donations can be made directly to the funeral home as they endure this unforeseen tragedy.
