ANTONIA KARAMANOLIS

Antonia M. “Toni” ‘Cookie’ Karamanolis, 81, of Wintersville, OH passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Valley Hospice Care Center. She was born in Steubenville on January 31, 1943 the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Testa Simone. She was retired from St. Johns Hospital and Trinity Medical Center West as an operating room nurse. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Chris Karamanolis and her brother Carl V. Simone. Cookie is survived by her son Charles “Chuck” (Lisa) Karamanolis of Wintersville and daughter Michele (Larry) Barezinsky of Wintersville; grand- children Anthony (Autumn) Barezinsky and Seth (Bernadine) Fluharty; great grandson Walker Barezinsky and her caregiver and friend Buffy Mitchell. Services will be private.
