ARLENE HOOKER
Arlene Gerogette Hooker, 79, of New Cumberland, WV, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Valley Hospice of Steubenville, OH.
She was born December 7, 1944, in Washington, DC, a daughter of the late George & Mildred (Brooks) Rankin.
Arlene retired from New Cumberland Sparkle and New Cumberland Prescription Center; and was a member of the Chester 1st Christian Church.
Surviving are her husband of 47 years, James B. Hooker, her children Robert (Sharon) Rose, Benwood, WV; Dorothy (randy) Baker, Mequon, WI; Christopher Grimm, Hopedale, OH; 1 brother James (Shirley) Savarino, Oakhurst, CA; 5 grandchildren, James (Sarah) Grimm, Grafton, WI; Richard Raber, New Albany, OH; Devon Rose, Benwood, WV; C J Rose, Benwood, WV; and Malori (Austin) Nader, Waukesha, WI; great grandchildren, Halle, Kylee & Easton Grimm; Meredith & Evelyn Nader; D J Rose; and her beloved dog Milly.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Chester 1st Christian Church, 330 Indiana Avenue, Chester, WV, Rev. Toby Wilson on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 2:00pm.
