CAROLE KOSTECKI

She was born May 14, 1943 in Mckeesport, PA. She is the daughter of the late George and Anna Veychek Grantonic. Also preceding her in death is her husband, Edward Kostecki Sr.

Carole was retired from J.E. Chapman CPA P.C., and also from the former Ohio Valley Hospital billing department and Erwin’s Office Supply where she was a bookkeeper.

Surviving are her son, Edward J. (Amy) Kostecki Jr. of Mingo Junction; her daughter, Cheryl (Jim) Chapman of Steubenville; and her brother, Richard (Diane) Grantonic of Mingo Junction. Also surviving are her two grandchildren, Page and Brandon; and five great-grandchildren, Ariana, Rylee, Everlee, Aurora, and Artimey.

Carole enjoyed spending time with her family at their lake house at Pymatuning Lake, senior swimming at the Mingo pool, and also attended primetime Senior Center.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 3-7 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Additional visitation will be held Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. A funeral liturgy with Mass at St. Agnes Catholic Church will follow at 10 a.m., Fr. James Dunfee will celebrate. A vigil service will be held Tuesday at 5 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date.
