THOMAS TOMPOS
Thomas William Tompos of Weirton passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville following a brief Illness. He was 77 years old.
He was born on August 15, 1946, a son of Senator William and Helen Bambrick Tompos.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Brandi Lynne Tompos, son Michael Losier, brother Raymond Tompos, and his loving companion Wanda Channing.
Left to cherish Tom’s memory with love and admiration are his daughter Michelle (Abel) Gonzalez and grandchildren Tyler (Jenna) Clancey, and Joseph Clancey, and fiance Kelsey Thompson, Sarah, Emily (Vitalli Amis) Isabella Gonzalez, great-grand children Laylahh, Laylani, and Jubilee Clancey, additional survivors include many grand and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends will be received Tuesday, February 6, from 2 – 4 pm and 6 -8 pm at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. where funeral services for Tom will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 7, at 11 am.
Tom will be entombed in New Cumberland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tom’s name to the Spina Bifida Association at sbawp.org.
