MARGARET SWARTZMILLER
Margaret (Margie) Swartzmiller, 89, of New Cumberland, WV.
Passed away Wednesday June 18, 2025 at Weirton Medical Center.
She was born August 14, 1935 in Steubenville, OH a daughter of the late Herman and Mary (Popko) Pawelczyk. Also preceded in death by a son Eric C. Swartzmiller, her husband Clair O. Swartzmiller. Sisters Sarah Pawelczyk Rujak, Theresa Petroski, Stella Westlake and brothers Stanley, Herman, Paul, Walter, Casimir and Alexander Pawelczyk.
Retired from National Steel Tin Mill Assorter, A member if Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, President of CWC, Pastoral Council, Eucharistic Minister, Compassionate Friends, Fairview Grange and Soup Kitchen.
Surviving is her brother John Pawelczyk of Steubenville, OH and her Godchildren Chris Flowers, Bruno Manypenny and John Pawelczyk.
Friends will be received Tuesday June 24, 2025 from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am at the Church. Mass Christian burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Tuesday June 24, 2025 at 11:00am with Fr. Bill Matheny as celebrant. Services will follow in St. Paul’s Mausoleum in Weirton, WV.
