GARY PEARSON
Gary Pearson, 85, of Weirton, passed away Friday, July 11, 2025, at his daughter’s home in Columbus. He was born in Weirton, on May 30, 1940, the son of the late Daniel and Beatrice (Sheets) Pearson. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Collins. He served in Army reserves and retired from Weirton Steel.
He is survived by his daughter, Cindy (David) Harris of Columbus, a granddaughter, Jessica Gorman of Columbus; two brothers, Monte and Larry Pearson and a sister, Diane Holbrook.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at the Chapel in Chapel Hills Cemetery, on Gilson Avenue in Weirton from 11 a.m. to time of funeral service at 12:30 p.m. Nixon Funeral Home is in charge of services.
