GLEN DALE “MAC” McLAIN

Glen Dale “Mac” McLain, born on October 2, 1935, in Irondale, Ohio, passed away on October 20, 2025, at the age of 90, surrounded by his family.
Mac dedicated 45 years of his life to Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel.
Mac was a member of Hilltop Presbyterian Church. He also served his community as a founding member of the Knoxville Volunteer Fire Department.
Mac is survived by his beloved wife of almost 70 years, Carol Anita Rose McLain; his four children: Connie (Bob) Musgrave, JoAnn Piccin, Terri (John Webber), and Glen “Eddie” (Janet) McLain. Glen was a proud grandfather to Bob Jr. and Brad Musgrave, Justin and Joseph Piccin, Jesse Bible, Narayana, Keshava, and Dwija Cieslak, and Gene, Sarah, and Kyle McLain. He was also blessed with 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 4 PM to 7 PM at the MacLean Chapel of Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists, Riverside Ave, Wellsville. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, October 24th at 12 PM, with an hour of visitation prior to the service. Mac will be laid to rest in Morning View Cemetery in Irondale.
