The Smalley family sadly announces to the Ohio Valley community the passing of our dad Russ “Pappy” Smalley surrounded by his wife Linda, married 64 years, kids Debbie, Susan and Russ Jr. After 85 years, Pappy enjoyed serving five grandchildren Wes, Lauren, Chloe Dosson and Ella - three great grandchildren Haleigh, Sydney and Marshall and extended family of grandkids Riley, Isaiah, Tegan and Emory. Donald E. “Don” White, age 98, of Hopedale, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville with his daughter by his side. Born July 7, 1925, in Scio, he was a son of the late David White and Lola Wagner White. He attended schools in Unionport, Blue Ridge, Germano and Jewett prior to joining the Army during WWII.
