William A. Simmons Jr., 88, of Mingo Jct., OH passed in the hands of his Lord and Savior on April 29, 2026 at Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville after a brief illness. He was born at home in Mingo Jct, the oldest of five brothers, to the late Ancil and Gladys (Hanlon) Simmons. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Patty P.J. Simmons, son Richie Scaffidi, and three of his brothers, Tom (Tommy) Simmons and Eddie Ray and Fred Conners.
