Without adding any hocus-pocus to creation, the best bet is accidents happen.
Simple enough, science says. Nothing existed. Just a dark void. A spark started the expansion that created the universe as we know it today.
Billions of years to create the Earth, moon and stars. The gem in the whole process, Earth.
The sun and moon and another spark in the sand and life is created and another million years to create humans, who have turned the gem into an dump with the end in sight.
Beware of the mumbo jumbo being cast forth by the Fox pundits and their selected guests.
Being a Christian, let me end with what Jesus said. "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."
