Buckeye Local prepares for annual culture fair

CONNORVILLE — The Foreign Language Club at Buckeye Local High School is going wild about the idea for its latest International Culture Fair. This year’s theme will be “Get Wild with Culture,” and is set to take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Feb. 19 at the high school. The event will include displays, costumes and food which is native to countries around the world. Marine Corps provides another successful toy drive

WHEELING — The Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program, which is the Marine Corps’ premier community action program, provided 4,140 toys to more than 700 children throughout Ohio, Brooke and Hancock counties this past Christmas season. Shrine Club to hold breakfast WEIRTON — The Northern Panhandle Shrine Club will hold its all-you-can-eat breakfast 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Shrine building, located at 1221 Rice Blvd. in Weirton.
