The Sycamore Youth Center drama program will present the play “The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe” on Wednesday and Thursday at the center located at 301 N. Fourth St., Steubenville, at 6 p.m. The play is free of charge and open to the public. The cast, led by John Martinez, drama director, has been practicing since mid-October. The play also will be shown on Facebook “Live” on the Sycamore Youth Center Facebook page. Questions can be directed to Bobbyjon Bauman, center director, at (740) 409-2986. The play is based on the book “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe,” a fantasy novel for children by C.S. Lewis, published by Geoffrey Bles in 1950. It is the first published and best known of seven novels in “The Chronicles of Narnia” (1950-56).
