Public Employee Retirees, Inc., District 9, Jefferson County Chapter, met at Froehlich’s Classic Corner on Wednesday for the group’s first meeting of the new year. Due to the cancelation of December’s meeting as a result of inclement weather, those in attendance took part in the group’s annual Christmas party. Gifts were passed out, games were played and laughs were shared following discussions on new and old business. Among those in attendance were, from left, front, Eileen Warfield, Doris Starr, Bernadine Sliva, Rose Chappano and Donna Balzano; and back, President Terry Jennings, Esther McCoy, Joyce Summers, Treasurer Pat Horton and Joan Dohnal.
