Classrooms and Community event set STEUBENVILLE — The second-annual Classrooms and Community event will be held Aug. 10 at the Main Branch of the Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County, 407 S. Fourth St. The event will run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and will include giveaways of school supplies for teachers and students. Red Cross declares national blood crisis, seeks donors The American Red Cross has declared a national blood crisis for only the second time in its history, citing a four-year summer low in blood donations and an urgent need for donors. All blood types are needed, with type O blood in especially short supply.
