Steubenville Police Pooh pile: A Wilkins Street resident was concerned because her neighbor sprinkled mothballs on his lawn and didn’t understand why he’d done it, though police immediately spotted a “vast amount of (dog) feces” in the area and weren’t surprised when she told them that’s where she lets her dog do his business, Sunday. Police said the pooch’s pooh was “on the street, sidewalk and adjacent property” and told her it’s likely why the neighbor had resorted to mothballs, which can be toxic to pets, for odor control.
