Steubenville Police Surprise visitor: An Oakmont Avenue resident said she was asleep on her sofa when she awakened to find someone in her home, Thursday. She said she assumed it was a family member headed up to her bedroom and called out several times, but instead a strange man “wearing a hat, jeans and a black shirt came down the stairs into her living room.” The homeowner said when she asked the man who he was he said he was looking for someone and left on foot.
