Police said they found the car “stuck on a pole.” The driver, identified as Naakee Woodland, 21, 956 Sherman Ave., allegedly told police he lost control and “when he attempted to hit the brakes it made it worse and he struck the wooden poles in front of the pavilions.” Police said the vehicle was “suspended in the air on top of three poles that had come out of the ground” and had heavy front-end damage. Steubenville Police Cheating hearts: A woman reported a disturbance in the 3100 block of Central Avenue, Tuesday. Police said the woman, who was intoxicated, told them she’d been drinking with a male friend and they started arguing about a civil matter involving another individual and claims at one point the male “grabbed her by the front of her shirt, causing her necklace to break” so she “grabbed a dog leash and hit him (with it).” He fled on foot, bleeding, and tried to flag a passing ambulance down, police said.
