Weir Public Library, and DeeAnn Pulliam, Weirton city clerk and an advocate with A Child’s Place CASA, place blue pinwheels outside of the Weirton Municipal Building Friday, in preparation of observances of April as National Child Abuse Prevention Month. In addition, CASA has announced April 5 as “Wear Blue Day,” to help bring awareness of efforts to prevent child abuse in the Ohio Valley. — Craig Howell
