Area residents gathered at the Weirton Event Center Thursday evening for a prayer vigil, featuring speakers from the Franciscan University of Steubenville chapter of Turning Point USA and several local clergy. Several of those speaking referenced the Sept. 10 killing of political activist and Turning Point founder Charlie Kirk while speaking at Utah Valley University.
