Weirton offers reminder of service fee increase

WEIRTON — Weirton municipal officials are reminding businesses in the city about the recently implemented increase to the Municipal Service Fee. Given final approval by City Council by a 6-1 vote April 13, the increase now requires any business operating in the city to withhold $5 per week from the pay of each employee. Two-vehicle crash damages signal, closes U.S. 22 ramp

STEUBENVILLE — City Engineer Mike Dolak said the University Boulevard/U.S. 22 East ramp from State Route 7 north is temporarily closed while he determines how long it will take to repair damage caused by a two-car collision Saturday at the marina entrance.
