State approves facilities plan update for Hancock County Schools

NEW CUMBERLAND – Hancock County Schools is one step closer to being able to update its comprehensive facilities plan to allow for a project to update its heating and air conditioning systems in two of the county's schools. STEUBENVILLE — Jefferson County Commissioners are finally ready to advertise for bids for a new chiller for the Justice Center, but the work likely won’t get underway until much later this year. The Weirton Area Water Board issued the order, which affects all water customers on Front Street, as well as any others in the area who experienced low or no water pressure.
