Tearin’ Up the Turf turns 21 RICHMOND — Area high school marching bands will gather Sept. 12 for Tearin’ Up the Turf XXI at Cartwright Memorial Stadium at the Edison Unified Sports Complex. Gates open at 6 p.m., with the show beginning at 7 p.m. Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for senior citizens and students and free for children 5 and younger. Toronto man dies in SR 152 crash

RICHMOND — A Toronto man was killed Tuesday following a single-vehicle crash near Richmond. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, James A. Clark, 70, was driving a 2024 Jeep Gladiator north on state Route 152 at about 4:26 p.m. when the vehicle went off the right side of the roadway, overturned and struck a tree. Clark was pronounced dead at the scene by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office. Multiple emergency crews responded including the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and the Belvedere, Unionport, Hopedale and Wintersville Fire Departments. The crash remains under ...
