History is all around us and in Steubenville it is on every block. Some blocks, though, no longer exist, but the memory of the places that were once there are still remembered. One of the places that loomed large in our collective memory is the Steubenville Female Seminary. Considering it closed around 128 years ago, its memory is still strong here in town.
