WEIRTON — For three decades, the Weirton Board of Parks and Recreation has offered area runners and walkers a chance to challenge themselves and have some fun. RESURFACING SET IN STEUBENVILLE STEUBENVILLE — The city will begin its 2026 City Street Hot-Mix Resurfacing Project at 7 a.m. Monday, with work continuing throughout the week, weather permitting. The project will involve cold milling the existing asphalt and placing a hot-mix asphalt intermediate leveling course. A new hot-mix asphalt surface will be installed several weeks later. “No Parking” signs will be posted on affected streets at least one day before work begins.
