Brooke County libraries announce September programs WELLSBURG — The Brooke County Public Library and Follansbee Branch have several activities planned in September. The Brooke County Public Library will host a West Virginia author book talk with state Sen. Ryan Weld at 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, in the River Room. Zeta Street water line work postponed to Friday

WEIRTON - Water line maintenance on Zeta Street, which had been scheduled for today, has been postponed until Friday. The Weirton Area Water Board reports the work will now begin at 8 a.m., Friday. Residents on Zeta Street, Brookline Street, and the 3400 and 3500 blocks of Elm Street may experience low or no water pressure as a result of the work. A boil order will be issued once the project is finished and service is restored.
