Conclusions about the election

To the Editor, I have always appreciated the democratic republic that we in the United States of America enjoy. Knowing that that is not unanimous, such a stand gives many the right to disagree and to loathe the democratic republic. Currently, the talking heads who are Democrats, tell us that this is a most to-be-feared election just in case that Donald Trump is elected president. There is not enough fire in the pit to punish the evil ones in the world who wallow around in their state of pleasurable sensation of making believe they are the gods of righteousness. Trump’s problem: The people supporting him with a passion, Fox News pundits and others are defending a former president with a spoiled childhood syndrome personality. Biblical: Lord grant us the wisdom to care for the earth and till it. Help us to act now for the good of future ...

For so many years Angel Trees, red kettles and bell ringers have been an important and symbolic part of the Christmas season helping the Salvation Army provide toys and food for needy families. This year, the many people who adopted angels in Brooke County were more than generous in their selection and amount of toys and clothes for the children. The Salvation Army is the conduit between those who ...
