ADENA -- The Adena Lions Club held a bake sale, "Confectionaries for Childhood Cancer," in conjunction with the Harrisville Volunteer Fire Department's fish fry to raise funds for a good cause.
The fundraiser brought in $750 through the sale of baked goods and community donations. Club members thanked all who contributed items, made donations or supported the effort.
"We are grateful for the generosity of everyone who baked, donated and showed up to support this cause," said Sara George, chair of the bake sale. "Our community always steps up, and these funds will make a meaningful difference for local families."
