Volunteers sought for Ohio River Sweep in Steubenville STEUBENVILLE – The annual Ohio River Sweep cleanup event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon June 6 at the Steubenville Marina. Organized since 1989 by ORSANCO, FORE and environmental protection agencies from Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia and Pennsylvania, the cleanup effort focuses on removing litter from the Ohio River and surrounding areas.
