Jefferson County sheriff

Let it go: A Bloomingdale resident notified deputies of threats from an ex, Wednesday. She said she’s blocked him, but the man makes new fake profiles to message her.

Disappearing act: An Amsterdam man said his 1998 Mazda two-door truck was stolen about three weeks ago, Thursday. He said his brother wanted to use the truck but after telling him he’d drive him himself he left the room for a moment and when he returned, his brother and the truck had both disappeared.

Steubenville police

Charged: Tasha L. Winland, 35, 1588 state Route 43, Lot 62, Richmond, petit theft, Wednesday. Wal-Mart employees alleged Winland concealed merchandise valued at $263 on her person and attempted to leave the store without paying, police said.

Code issues: Notices of violation were sent to the owners/occupants of properties at 1343 Oak Grove Ave., recliner and other furniture, high grass; 1124 Oak Grove, litter in rear of residence; 537 Lincoln Blvd., high grass;

Reported: A downtown resident said a man known to her threatened to “whoop” her, Wednesday.
