Town and Country Ladies League

The Town and Country Ladies Golf League held its final round of golf for the 2025 season at Spring Hills Golf Course on Oct. 2.

The following were named the winners in their respective flights: Dorothy Baier, low gross, A Flight; Signa Findlay, low net, A Flight; Diane Vandine, low gross, B Flight; Pat Zorne, low net, B Flight; Dora Elizaga, low gross, C Flight; and Toni Dondzila, low net, C Flight.

The winners of the longest drive on hole No. 2 were: Findlay, A Flight; Vandine, B Flight; and Elizaga, C Flight.

The winners of the longest drive on hole No. 5 were: Baier, A Flight; Vandine, B Flight; and Dondzila, C Flight.

Winners of closest to the pin on hole No. 8 were: Vandine, B Flight; and Dondzila, C Flight.

Findlay was the winner of low putts, with 17.

Following play, members attended their annual banquet at Undo’s in Weirton.

Several awards were given, as well as received. Pat Zorne was named the most improved player.

A wonderful time was had by everyone in attendance. Members reminisced about the year’s events and enjoyed each other’s friendship and camaraderie.
