Steubenville police

Noticed: Notices of violation were sent to owners of properties at 200 Logan, 204 Logan, 620 N. Webster Alley, 608 N. Fifth and 723 N. Fifth, weeds, and 2629 Hollywood Blvd., a mattress and refrigerator in the back yard. Also, a Grandview Avenue resident spotted someone dumping an old mattress and a couch on a vacant lot next to his property and was ordered to remove the items. Police said they also observed several old bags of trash tossed over a hillside onto city property.

Bullies: A Scenic Drive resident said his juvenile daughter is being harassed on Instagram, July 5.

Found: Police in Landrum, S.C., notified Sunset Motors they’d recovered a car stolen from one of their downtown storage lots, Thursday.

Harassing calls: A resident in the 1500 block of Orego said his juvenile daughter is receiving harassing phone calls, Thursday.

Complaint: A shirtless white male sitting on a picnic table at 264 Sunset Boulevard yelled at customers patronizing a business and took their pictures, Thursday.

Hit: Someone knocked over a lamp post in the 1800 block of Williams Place, Thursday.

Shots: Police investigated a report of shots fired in the 700 block of Oakmont, Friday. The area was checked thoroughly but no casings were located.

Robbed: A woman in the 700 block of Market Street said an individual known to her took clothing, a lamp and small essentials from her residence without permission, Friday.

Stranded: A woman in the 4300 block of Southeast Drive told police she fell during the night and couldn’t get up, Friday.

Asleep: Police were told a man was sleeping in the restroom at a gas station on S. Third St., Friday.

Arrested: Richard Doran, 58, North Lima, felony theft, Thursday.

Arrested: George Thomas, 37, 601 County Road, Irondale, felony drug possession, Friday.

Arrested: Jesse Turner, 37, 211 West Blvd, Mingo Junction, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia, a hypodermic needle, Friday.

Arrested: Mayia Dokes, 21, 531 Cedar Ave., domestic violence and resisting arrest, Friday.

Jefferson County sheriff

Arrested: David Brown, 36, 276 Ridgeland Drive, Toronto, obstructing official business and aggravated menacing, Friday.

Arrested: Anna Clark, 32, 732 North Sixth Ave., Steubenville, bench warrant, Saturday.

Vandalism: A fence post at a residence on state Route 43 in Richmond was reported burned on Sunday.
