Red Knights sweep Catholic Central on opening night
TORONTO -- The Toronto volleyball team opened up its season with a rivalry win on Friday night, sweeping past Catholic Central.
Jayna Reeves had 11 kills, six aces and a block, JJ Rebich had eight aces, 11 assists and a dig, Grace Rex finished with two kils, two aces and eight digs, Chloe Fisher tallied four kills, two aces and 11 assists and Kylie Mitchell recorded four kills, a block and an ace.

Big Red wins big
STEUBENVILLE -- The Big Red girls soccer team opened its season in style on Friday as part of the OHSAA's Friday Night Futbol season kick off games, topping visiting Shenandoah by a 9-0 score.
Big Red begins its full regular season slate with a trip to Oak Glen on Thursday evening.

Edison falls to Beaver
RICHMOND -- The Edison boys golf team dropped a dual with Beaver Local on Friday, 157-191.
Edison's efforts were led by Xander Haught with a score of 45, Jordy Everhart with a 48, and Luke Feralli and Brady Haught with a pair of 49s.
The Wildcats are back in action Monday taking on Ridgewood.
