Steubenville Police Woman injured: A woman in the 200 block of S. 4th Street was hospitalized Thursday after she was “stabbed inside her residence by a subject known to her,” Steubenville Police Chief Ken Anderson said. Police had been called to the residence shortly before 2 p.m. “following a report of a female who had been stabbed,” he said. She was taken by ambulance to an area hospital, where she is listed in stable condition. The suspect fled before police arrived. The incident remains under investigation, he said.
