Steubenville Police Alcohol talking: A man who’d had too much to drink was causing problems at the Texas Roadhouse, Wednesday. Steubenville Police Making mom proud: An officer stopped at a red light on Sunset Boulevard at DiGregory Avenue said when the light changed, he noticed the car in front didn’t move so another driver hit his horn, Tuesday. The driver of the lead vehicle, a juvenile “placed (his) vehicle in park and exited, approaching (the other driver) in a hostile and aggressive manner.” The juvenile “began screaming obscenities at (the other driver) and giving the driver his ‘middle fingers’,” thereby preventing other vehicles from moving through the intersection. Steubenville Police Walking on water: Three people trying to walk across the Ohio River were advised that wasn’t a good idea, Monday. Police said the trio was “halfway out on the river, walking … toward West Virginia” so they activated their lights and sirens “and were able to beckon them back to the Ohio side and onto the shoreline.” They were advised of the severe safety concerns involved in walking over the icy river and told they should leave the marina.
